From the Executive Director’s Seat

The Institute of Risk Management-Kenya vision is to lead and inspire sustainable value adding enterprise risk management in Kenya and across Africa. We achieve this by promoting organizational effectiveness, professional growth and economic development through integrated enterprise risk management. We passionately believe in the importance and relevance of risk management and therefore advocate for enterprise-wide risk approach, understanding that risk management is as much about the people as it is about processes. We have therefore put in place six core programs that drive our objective; training, research, collaborations, advocacy, membership, and Advisory.

To risk and compliance practitioners, we look forward to taking you through a certification qualification in addition to our in-house training, which will open many doors. It will give you an opportunity to learn about things that interest you, prepare you for the career of your choice and give you the skills you need throughout your working life. It is my hope that Risk and Compliance practitioners will find the program necessary to boost their understanding and professional outlook.

IRM-K is in partnership with other institutions, and we target to expand this through further collaborations in areas of research, training, and advocacy. We look forward to you engaging us on any areas of interests in the field of risk and compliance management.
