The Institute’s 2017 2ndquarter Thought Leadership Series cocktail hosted by Chase Cooper Ltd will be held at Hilton Hotel, Nairobi on 31st May 2017 at 6.00pm.
The key presentation will be made by the renowned Prof. Tony Blunden of Chase Cooper United Kingdom. Tony is recognized throughout the industry as a world leading authority on enterprise operational risk management and brings deep domain knowledge and practical experience gained working with central banks, regulators, multilateral development banks as well as commercial banks, insurance companies, asset managers and brokers around the world. He is having co-authored “Mastering Operational Risk” published by Financial Times- A best seller now in its second edition. An international speaker at conferences he also lectures at Glasgow Caledonian University ‘s(GCU) business school.
The speaker will reflect together with the audience on new trends in Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks, and how automated ERM Frameworks are shaping risk management in different industries and their impact on the future of operational risk management.
